Ten Bulldogs Named To MVC Track & Field Scholar-Athlete Team

Bulldogs honored for their performance in competition and the classroom

A total of 10 Drake student-athletes have been named to the 2019 Missouri Valley Conference Track & Field Scholar-Athlete Team, the league announced Wednesday, May 22.

To earn a spot on the MVC Scholar-Athlete Team student-athletes must have a 3.2 or better grade point average, be at least a sophomore in both academic and athletic standing and have placed in the top eight of an individual event or the top three in a relay event.

The Bulldogs are represented on the team by Lexie Chapman, Aaron Chier, Victoria Coombe, Matt Cozine, Max Harlan, Meghan Kearney, Xavier Lechleitner, Christina LeMunyon, Olivia Rogers and Rachel Selva.

Chapman, Coombe and LeMunyon all earned the honor for both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
