LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Drake University track & field team concluded competition at the Graduate Classic hosted by Nebraska at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Saturday (Jan. 15).  
 
Keaton Kester registered a 7.84 in both her preliminary and final rounds of the 60 meter dash. Victor Peka won the men's 200 meter dash with a time of 21.95 and Will Skinner recorded his personal record of 23.67. Iris Hertting (1:43.68) set a personal best in the 600 meters and was followed closely by Busiwa Asinga (1:43.83).
 
Chandler Haight notched her name in the Drake indoor shot put top-10 again after 13.60 meters was the fifth longest in the record book. Adam Phillips settled into seventh all-time in program history for the indoor shot put with his 14.97 meter shot put.
 
The women's distance medley squad of Emilie Meyer, Lindsey Rowatt, Tyla Lumley, Barbara Vrhovac placed first with a time of 12:23.57.
 
Drake track & field will compete next in the Cyclone Open hosted by Iowa State on Saturday (Jan. 22).
