The Drake University track & field teams continued to turn in some of the top performances in program history Saturday afternoon at the KT Woodman Classic in Wichita, Kan.
 
In addition to those performances, the Bulldogs recorded six first-place finishes at seven second-place showings.
 
Adam Fogg continued his assault on the Drake record book in winning the 1,500 meters in 3:44.12, the third-fastest finish in program history and second fastest since 1981. He was trailed closely by Isaac Basten in third and Ryan Schweizer in fourth.
 
Yinka Marie Ajayi, the school record holder in the indoor 400 meters, clocked the ninth fastest outdoor time by a Bulldog in winning the event in 55.81. Ellie Mendlik followed her in third place and Joann Nguyen in fourth.
 
Drake's throwers continued to revise the record book again as Joey Harkins, who was already ranked second in Drake history, solidified his standing with a personal best heave of 199-9 (60.88m) to finish second in the event.
 
Chandler Haight followed suit in the shot put, winning with a mark of 46-8.75 (14.24m). That performance ranks Haight third all-time at Drake in the event. She also finished third in the discus at 136-11 (41.74m).
 
Adam Kessler also collected top honors in the men's shot put at 61-4 (18.69m).
 
Other first-place winners for the Bulldogs included a sweep of the 400-meter hurdles by David Olowookere and Busiwa Asinga.
 
Next week, the Bulldogs return home to compete in the 111th Drake Relays presented by Xtream powered by Mediacom April 22-24.
